Is the Service truly Unlimited?

YES, Your monthly recurring bill will stay the same, no matter how much usage.

how long will take to activate my service ?

From the day you place your order, generally, it takes 5 business days for your service to be activated on your line. You will usually receive your high-speed install kit via courier in two business days.

What is a fast internet speed and what is slow?

Generally, the high-speed internet can be 6 megabits per second (Mbps) download or more. Our packages range from 25 megabits per second to 50 megabits per second, depending on your needs.

What speed should I get?

The speed of service you will want depends on what you like to use the internet for, as well as how many devices you intend to have on the internet. Our Basic service (6mbps) is perfect for those to use the internet to check emails, use online services such as banking, and other day-to-day activities. However, if you like to watch videos online (such as Netflix and Hulu), or play games online (such as Minecraft) or with gaming systems (X-Box, PS3), we recommend our Premium (25mbps) or Premium Plus (50mbps) services for those activities. These speeds are also recommended if you have many devices that will be on the internet at the same time.

Will the charges remain the same or will you increase after some time?

Your charges will remain the same until you cancel your service.

How do I change speeds after I start your service?

Switching to a higher or lower speed is very easy with us! All it takes is one phone call to our Service department. We can make this change right from our office, so there’s no need to have a technician come out! Billing will be adjusted on the day of the speed adjustment, and your regular billing will continue on the 1st.

My cancellation is on 15th next month. When will you get me your service?

We will be able to install the service between 4-5 days after signing up with Tnext. Our goal is to install the service the day following your cancellation.

If i am moving how many days before , I should i call you ?

In order to avoid any service interruptions, please provide 4-6 days’ notice.

 

How can I make the payment?

You will receive an invoice by email every month. You may make a payment through our ‘pay now’ link on www.Tnext.ca by using My Account/Pay now, or call our office at (416) 477-8181 (Credit Card) or by visiting our office at 502-155 Rexdale Blvd., Etobicoke, ON, M9W 5Z8 (Cash, Credit, Debit). Payee status at RBC, TD, BMO & Scotia Bank will be set up in the next few months

Can I cancel the service any time? Is there any penalty charges?

Yes you can cancel at any time. The service is prepaid by the month, so there are no penalty fees to cancel. Best to cancel in the last week of the month so you do not prepay for a month you will not be using our service.

What happens if I reset my modem to factory default settings?

If you press the reset button on your router, it basically wipes the router clean and resets it back to how it was out of the box.  The modem must be reconfigured. Call Tnext directly for assistance.

What do I do if I have trouble with my Internet connection?

To troubleshoot your connection:

 

  • look at your modem box (the top 4 lights should be blue to show you have power and a live DSL connection to the Internet)
  • if the top light is Blue, but the second line is Red, check the cable connection to the modem to make sure it is plugged in all the way to wall jack. If the plug is in tight, contact Tnext at (416) 477-8181 to report the problem.
  • If first two lights are blue and the 3rd light is red (internet) then restart the router (unplug the power cable and put it back) if the light is not back on after few minutes please contact Tnext for technical support at (416) 477-8181

My lights on the modem sometimes flash. Is this normal?

It is normal for the wireless and Interment light to flash occasionally which mean there is an active data transection is going on

Can I keep my phone number when I migrate to Tnext?

Yes, you can keep your same home phone number

Can I use my own internet modem / home phone devise?

Yes, you can use your own device

Can I make long distance call?

Yes, you can make the long distance. It is not included in the package but you can top-up your account and make long distance calls with TNEXT  lower rates

What information does Tnext need when I am migrating my old phone number to Tnext?

We only need a current invoice from your previous provider. Please make sure that the account number, name and address are visible on that invoice.

Do I need to cancel my phone service with my previous provider after migrating to Tnext?

No, you don’t have to worry about canceling your phone connection with your previous provider.  Your connection will be terminated with your previous provider when we port the number to Tnext

How is the Account different from other long distance providers and calling cards that I have used?

The services are designed to save you money on long distance calls made from your cellular, office and home phone. This service does not replace your existing cellular and local calling plans; it simply allows you to stop paying the high rate for long distance calls. Unlike other calling cards, the minutes you purchase with the card will never expire and there is no monthly fee, maintenance fee.

How long will it take before my account is available for use?

Your account will be activated in less than an hour. (If you sign up after 11 PM EST your account will be activated the next day.)

Are there any contracts or agreements to sign?

No. You are not required to sign any contracts or agreements.

How do I sign up for Tnext long distance service?

As long as you have an active telephone number you can use our long distance service by giving us a call or simply by registering online.

Does my account balance never expire?

Your account and account balance will not expire. Even if your account balance is depleted, we will keep your account open so that you can make a deposit the next time you have the need to make a Long Distance call.

How do I check my account balance?

Each time you use the service, you will be given your balance before your call is connected.

How do I activate my account?

How many phone numbers can I activate to my account?

You can activate up to 5 separate phone numbers on each account. The x phone numbers are comprised of your Primary Phone number and x additional phone numbers that you choose

Are there any hidden fees associated with this service?

No hidden fees!!!

Will I still get charged for minute usage from my cellular provider?

Placing a long distance call through will use your airtime on your cellular plan but you will not be charged any long distance charges from your cellular provider.
